Leave Window Open

Can you close the internet but still have it open in the OnTopReplica? How?

Yes. OnTopReplica can only "clone" an existing application window. In order to show a web page, for instance, you must leave the web page open in a browser window and let OnTopReplica clone it. OnTopReplica cannot show any content (from the Internet, or otherwise) on its own.

So you always have to keep the internet open to view the page? Can you close the internet but still have it open in the OnTopReplica? How?

So I noticed if I have OnTopReplica showing content for my Nest Cam and minimize it, the Nest Cam is not live. I have to keep the browser open and can't minimize or else OnTopReplica will not show the live site. Is that what you are referring to when you said keep the web page opened? I didn't think it would stop even if i minimize since it is actually still open.

Yes, that is a known limitation of how replicas are managed by Windows itself: minimized windows are not refreshed for performance reasons, therefore minimized browser windows will appear not to be live.
The only solution is to keep the browser window in the background, but not minimized (i.e., you can move other applications in front of the browser, or move the browser window off screen). This will keep the replica live, on top of other applications.
